Triple Protect Liquid Foundation SPF 30 Formulation
A hybrid make up and sun protection formulation which protects against photoaging, blue light and fights against dry and red skin conditions.
PARSOL® DHHB (INCI: Diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate) is an efficient UVA absorber for sunscreen, face care and color cosmetic formulations. It enables broadband protection when combined with effective UVB filters and can also contribute to SPF. PARSOL® DHHB is an oil-soluble, off-white to pale yellow powder that must be completely solubilized in formulations. It is compatible with all UVB filters on the market and is compatible with zinc oxide and iron oxides, which makes it fit for purpose in hybrid formulations. With its good eco score, PARSOL® DHHB also enables formulators to develop high eco-class formulations (DSM Sunscreen Optimizer™ 2.0). And like all our UV filters, it is backed by a comprehensive package of services, designed to keep you ahead in this market.
Recent reports in prominent German media have raised concerns about the presence of phthalates in UV filters, including Di-n-hexyl phthalate (DnHexP). We want to assure you, that PARSOL® DHHB is free from detectable phthalate DnHExP, a fact proven by our frequent and rigorous default testing.
From the beginning, dsm-firmenich has been transparent with all information regarding our ingredients. Not all suppliers might claim this impurity transparently in their product information, but dsm-firmenich does. This is just one example of dsm-firmenich’s high-quality standards.
Our state-of-the-art manufacturing processes ensure that our ingredient meets stringent safety criteria, providing you with confidence in the products you develop. We have consistently maintained the lowest possible levels of impurities, with DnHexP levels in PARSOL® DHHB being below the limit of detection (LOD). After testing more than 30 batches, we are confident in our results and will update our product information to: DnHexP < LOD (5.4 ppm). That is why we can state that DnHexP is non detectable as proven by frequent testing.
