DSM Nutritional Products appoints new leadership in Asia Pacific

Royal DSM, a global science-based company active in health, nutrition and sustainable living has appointed Anand Sundaresan as Regional Vice President of DSM Human Nutrition & Health, Asia Pacific. The appointment, effective 15 February 2019, comes as DSM continues to drive accelerated growth in Asia Pacific.

Anand Sundaresan, a US National, is an experienced global business leader, with an established record of success in creating and driving the vision to deliver revenue, profit and market share performance in different environments.

He started his career at Merrick Systems, an energy software company, before joining Dow Chemicals Company in 2008. During his time with Dow Chemicals he assumed senior commercial and marketing leadership roles before taking over as Global Business Director, Polyols, based in Michigan, US. Anand has also lived and worked in China and Thailand and gained significant exposure to the American, Middle Eastern and Asian markets in his various roles.

Anand will be based in Singapore, the regional headquarters for DSM Nutritional Products and home to the state-of-the-art regional Innovation Application Center. The Innovation Center, which opened in 2015, has co-created and supported the commercialisation of more than 100 products with food, beverage, and dietary supplement brand owners in the region.
