Vitamin A Product Form Offers Packaging Flexibility

Over the years, dsm-firmenich has responded to customer needs with new and exciting innovations, and 2023 is no different. Most recently, we have focused efforts on the vitamin space to address customer requests we’ve received for larger packaging units. We are excited to share that this month, dsm-firmenich is extending its packaging portfolio with a new vitamin A product form suitable for safe transport in 500 kg big bags, providing more flexibility for our customers.  

The increased packaging unit size and safe transport support automatization and efficient handling of vitamin A.  This will result in less packaging waste and more convenience for ingredient bin storage and premix and feed production. Based on more than 30 trials conducted in commercial products, premix, pelleted and extruded feeds, we have demonstrated that the new product form of ROVIMIX® AD3 shows the same high application stability and physical properties as the current version. Additionally, shelf-life period, storage conditions, methods for analyzing the vitamin content, and transportation requirements remain unchanged. The new form will be supplied under the same name, ROVIMIX® AD3 1000/200, with new product codes.
