Digital SalmoFan™ is a quick and easy tool for objectively measuring the visual color of salmon. The method minimizes the variation typically associated with subjective measurements.
I am using the Digital SalmoFan™ in research trials to evaluate the visual color of salmon. Each fillet is scanned several times and an average SalmoFan figure is calculated and registered by the Digital SalmoFan™.
I appreciate that the Digital SalmoFan™ app is easy to operate on a phone. I find it very convenient that sample reports can be exported via email in Excel format.
